I'm currently trying to develop a guidance package for Visual Studio 2008 (beta 2 at the moment). Are there any plans for support of this platform anytime soon? SFT look great and I'd love to be able to use it!

Yes, we're working on an SFT Orcas compatible version right now and it will available in the following next weeks.

Any update on this? We're about to embark on our first GAT/DSL project in VS2008 and would like to know if we should wait a few days or weeks for the tools. It looks like it's been about 8 weeks since the last post.

Thanks!
Mike

Not to be pushy, but it's been 12 weeks Wink

Any rough estimates when you might publish more information or an updated SFT for VS 2008? Much appreciated!

Sorry for the late reply.

We've decided to hold our new SFT bits due to the current GAX/GAT not supporting VS 2008 RTM version. Although the currents GAX/GAT bits may work under VS 2008 RTM that is not a supported scenario by Microsoft.

Microsoft is going to release a new version of GAX/GAT (v1.4 or February 2008) and we will have compatible SFT bits for this version.

Bottom-line: developing with GAX/GAT for VS 2008 RTM is not supported yet (again, although it may work with previous GAX version) and when that happens, anytime during February, Clarius will have a new SFT drop supporting that too.

Thanks for your patience!

Just wanted to check for an update since the VS2008 GAT\GAX tools were released the middle of last month. Do you have a timeframe for the next SFT release? We're very excited to try it out. (I know there's a forum for it specifically, but we are also curious about the RTM release of the T4 editor.)

Thanks!

Just wanted to know if the SFT version supporting VS 2008 / GAX v1.4 (Feb 2008) will be made available soon ?

I'm building a sofware factory using GAT/GAX on VS2008, this information would help me to planned my work.

Thanks a lot,

Nicolas

Hi,
Did a VS2008 version ever get released, because I don't seem to have come across any link or Download section anywhere.

Thanks
John
